Why should plastic water bottle be banned?


Millions of plastic water bottle are thrown away in the sea 
and on the streets. It can take up to 1000 years for plastic bottle to breakdown which means millions of plastic bottles pollute our environment every year, floating around our oceans and killing the animals.




Can plastic water bottles be recycled?



Most plastic water bottles end up in the wrong bin, even though they have the recyclable symbol right on the bottom of the bottle.

Banning water bottled would save money if it was banned.
Water bottle is a practical emergency water supply
Water bottled are expensive. It can cost between 400 to 2,000 times more than tap water.
I understand that water bottle are convenient as when you want to drink water you just go and buy it instead of looking for a tap water.
They should be banned because they are taking water from a natural source and selling it for about ten times the price of the really cost.
Banning water bottle removes a healthy choice and leads to increased drinking of unhealthy sugary drinks.
Tap water is healthier then water bottle as the minerals are taken out.

Causes health risk as it has harmful chemicals in it. As specially if people reuses the plastic bottle often.

  • Stop buying plastic water bottle
  • Recycle used bottle
  • Use an eco-friendly water bottle or glass bottle
  • Carry your own water bottle that is toxic free
